The truism goes, “The only constant in life is change.” OK, that’s great, but now what? Go to First30Days.com, a site that is dedicated to helping you through the period of time following any change, transition, or decision.
The site was founded by master of change Ariane de Bonvoisin, who has weathered life, career, and personal changes. She has an MBA from Stanford, has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, been tapped by Time Warner to run one of their new media divisions, and is a certified life coach. Of course, though, the seedling for a site dedicated to change was something her mother once said to her. “If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.” |

Honestly, we thought it was impossible for Crocs to look like anything other tha weird orthopedic looking sandals. But Crocs, the shoe company that has amassed a cult following because of their legendary comfort, has managed to defy our expectations with their new line of Lady Crocs called Adara ($34.99). Adara is essentially a more substantial flip-flop. Or, as they say, “a funky twist on a traditional flop.”

You have heard all of the prom nightmare stories before - getting ditched by your date, dropping dinner on your fancy dress, the untimely wardrobe malfunction...but getting arrested because of your dress choice?!?! Marche Taylor, a high school student from Houston, Texas arrived at her prom only to be escorted out in handcuffs after an official informed her that her dress violated the school dress code. Even after offering to provide more cover, Taylor was still denied access to "the big dance." She was not charged and was eventually released.
Question: Based on the dress shown above, do you believe that Marche Taylor should have been allowed into her prom or did school officials over-react? |

In honor of Women's Health Week, I thought our breasts would appreciate some well-deserved attention. Many of us, both sexes included, may define and even describe a woman according to the shape, size, function, or health of her breasts. They are a curious obsession...large and shapely breasts...hypnotic boobs...mammary madness...natural or not. Breasts of all sizes have been the focus of many battles such as the right to breastfeed in public; the 'Breasts Not Bombs" anti-war demonstrations where women bare their breasts in public service; the FCC versus Janet Jackson's breast on national television; Southwest Airlines detaining unrestrained breasts; and most important...fighting the war on breast cancer. Regardless of our religion, politics, or social class, breasts of the world are here to stay and breast research, education, and health must be included in the movement for change.
