First off, if you haven’t already snagged a tube of their new LashBlast mascara, you should do so. Now. Right now. LashBlast is in a heated competition with Maybelline’s Great Lash for the title of Deenie's Favorite Drug Store mascara, potentially pushing Great Lash down to Number Two. The reason? That magical, rubbery mascara wand! Before dipping your LashBlast wand into the barrel, you’ll notice it looks something like a porcupine, or Hellraiser, but this brush has 50% more bristles than their VolumeExact mascara, and works wonders. Also available in waterproof, LashBlast is easy to apply, clean on the eyes, and dramatic. So maybe you’re not feeling dramatic all of the time? Hasn’t Grey’s and Gossip Girl given us enough drama this month? Molly recommends trying LashBlast in brown. She loves it for summer because it’s not too heavy, and softer than black for your everyday summer look. CoverGirl has also revamped their TruBlend foundation. This is really exciting to me because I don’t usually wear foundation, especially in the summer, but occasionally I like to have a little more coverage. TruBlend has been formulated to conceal pesky imperfections, provide you with flawless coverage, and still give you that “no makeup” look. It’s available in six different shades which follow a number system, making it easy to keep up with which shade is best for you. Molly is a big believer in that fact that you wear the makeup- the makeup doesn’t wear you, which is exactly what TruBlend strives to accomplish. Now, I can’t believe that I've waited until the fourth paragraph to bring this up…but in July of this year CoverGirl will release a new LIPGLOSS! Not just your average lip gloss, however. CoverGirl Wetslicks Amazemint contains Crest Peppermint Oil in it, so not only will your lips smell of delicious peppermint, but 3 out of the 13 shades feature a blue undertone to enhance the whiteness of your teeth! Don’t worry, it doesn’t look blue. It looks bright! Those colors are Plum Crazy, Un-Wined, and Toast-ed. The consistency is nice, too. The key ingredient, petrolatum, is a “standard ingredient in achieving creaminess, moisturization, and conditioning” without being too sticky. It’s not quite as thick as I usually like my glosses, perhaps because of the peppermint oil, so you might need to apply it more often than your more viscous glosses. But to achieve the illusion that my breath smells fresh even after a large coffee and an Everything bagel- I’ll take it! Keep your eyes peeled for this breath boosting, pout perfecter in the coming months.

Thanks to Deenie, I never leave home without lipgloss so I'm anxious to try CoverGirl's Wetsticks! Peppermint? sounds nice!

I am only really vain about one thing: Mascara. So even at Camp, I have to have it on! The LashBlast Waterproof is really great! Comes off not-too-begrudgingly with Maybelline's EyeMakeup remover.
