Stop and Smell...the Lavender?
Daily Cents - Health Cents

We don’t have to tell you that right now there are all the ingredients for a perfect stress storm: uncertain job market, a tanking economy complicated by a severe credit crunch and rising food and energy prices.

But there are ways you can combat the stress cyclone (and possibly help keep your tummy flat) and one of them smells – good.

According to RealAge.com, inhaling the aroma of lavender for as little as five minutes a day reduced cortisol levels (cortisol is a stress hormone that has also been linked to increases in belly fat) and may also enhance additional antioxidant activity in the body.

Ahh, the sweet smell of health.
